Lee Smith died on 20th February 1981 at the age of only 29 of chronic leukaemia. This beautiful young woman touched the hearts of all who knew her and it was her dying wish that a cure be found to save the lives of others.

 

The Lee Smith Foundation Limited has raised millions of pounds derived mainly from sponsored events, gala evenings, golf tournaments, luncheons and a variety of other fundraising events, as well as donations. This money has funded numerous research scientists, treatment and vital medical equipment throughout the world.
